Chapter Ten – A Fitting End to an Unfortunate Season

Cleveland Browns (10-6) 21 @ Pittsburgh Steelers (11-5) 35
It was never a game. The Steelers jumped to a 14-0 lead and never looked back. Our defense played well and Cribbs and Buchanon did well at returning the football. Otherwise, it wasn’t much. When I got to the locker room all the guys looked down about losing to the Steelers again. I explained to them that we were a very young team and would be looking to come back next year to bring the same type of fight as we had this year. We had done things that no one in the NFL expected us to do, and we made the playoffs for the first time in many, many years.

The offseason was just another part of the season.
